As a Rust developer, you will work on a product used by millions of people and contribute to ensuring that WetterOnline remains reliable and efficient even under high traffic. In this role, you will be part of an agile team with short decision-making processes and the freedom to shape your own work. Whether you join the team at one of our four locations (Bonn, Bornheim, Coventry, Miami) or work remotely by prior arrangement – we look forward to your support.

To be successful with us, you need:

• Experience in Rust development,
• strong knowledge of Async Rust on the Tokio runtime,
• ideally, familiarity with graphics programming, specifically WGPU as an interface to WebGPU, Vulkan, OpenGL ES, and Metal,
• appreciation for automated unit and visual testing,
• enthusiasm for working collaboratively in a team,
• excellent knowledge of German and English,
• and the ability to write clean, structured, and maintainable code.

• WGPU with Vulkan, Metal, OpenGL ES and WebGPU as target platforms
• GitLab CI/CD
