Content & Audience Manager (Duty Editor)

(f/m/d)

Weather is more

Around 160 employees worldwide ensure that WetterOnline delivers not only highly accurate weather forecasts, but also a great working environment. Through our digital products, we reach millions of people every day and continuously evolve the content we create.

As a Content & Audience Manager (Duty Editor) (f/m/d), you know our products inside out and create real value for our users. Together with the team, you will develop content and formats for our app, website, social media channels, and video platforms. You combine journalistic instinct with relevant topics and an authentic way of communicating.

To be successful with us, you need:

  • Experience in journalism, content marketing, or digital media.

  • A talent for storytelling, a strong user-centric mindset, and the ability to turn relevant topics into engaging and accessible content.

  • An independent and pragmatic way of working.

  • Confidence in front of the camera.

  • An understanding of what drives reach and engagement.

What’a waiting for you:

  • You will create formats for our app, website, social media channels, and video platforms, using journalistic instinct, relevant topics, and an authentic approach.

  • You will produce concise short-form content such as reels, notifications, and ads, while creating content that drives reach and engagement.

  • Close collaboration with our Editorial, Product, and Marketing teams.

  • An audience of millions who love your content.

  • As you grow in the role and take on more responsibility, you will increasingly coordinate topic planning independently.

What matters most to us:

You do not need to be a meteorologist. What matters is your ability to identify relevant topics based on expert briefings and transform them into content that is clear, engaging, and easy for users to understand.

AI is a valuable assistant for us, but people make the difference: personality, editorial judgement, creativity, and the ability to build trust. That is exactly what we are looking for.

When snowflakes are falling everywhere at Christmas or thunderstorms are rolling in on a summer weekend evening, you see an opportunity to step into the spotlight and become a recognizable face of WetterOnline.

Your application:

Does this sound like your next career move? Then, instead of a traditional cover letter, simply send us a short video introducing yourself and showing us why you are the right person for this role.

You can find our benefits here.

This is what we also offer you

The wishes for work-life balance are as individual as the people who work for us. That’s why we offer you various opportunities to shape your working day according to your needs – from flexible working time models to health care.

We’ll listen to you, we promise.
